Privacy Policy
Worldschool Passport (worldschoolpassport.com) is owned and operated by The Freedom Atlas. This policy covers two things: the waitlist you can join today, and the app you'll be invited into once testing opens further. It explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect today (waitlist stage)
Your email address, and name if you give it, when you join the waitlist. This is collected and stored by MailerLite, our email service provider, on our behalf.
Standard website analytics: browser type, approximate location from IP address, and which pages you visit, collected automatically to keep the site running and understand how it's used.
What the app will collect once you're testing it
Your account details (name, email).
Your child's profile: first name, age or age range, interests, and any photos you choose to add to their adventures.
The learning record the app generates for your child: completed adventures, subjects covered, badges earned.
Trip details (destination, dates) so adventures can be generated for the right place.
We do not collect payment information. Worldschool Passport is free during testing, and this policy will be updated before that changes.
How your child's data is handled
A child's profile is created and controlled by their parent or guardian, never by the child directly. We only use your child's information to generate their adventures and learning record, and to let you export that record. We do not use a child's data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
If you want to review, correct, or delete your child's information at any point, contact us at hello@worldschoolpassport.com and we'll act on it.
Why we process this data
To run the waitlist and notify you when access opens, to operate and improve the app once you're using it, to generate the AI-driven lessons and treasure hunts your itinerary is built from, and to keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Worldschool Passport, and we share only what each one needs to do its job:
MailerLite, to manage the waitlist and send emails.
Our hosting provider, to run the website and app.
The AI provider that generates lessons and treasure hunts from the trip and interest details you provide.
We don't sell your data, or your child's data, to anyone.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email hello@worldschoolpassport.com.
Security
We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page as the app moves from testing toward full launch, particularly once real payment or account features are added. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
